SB Foods is about to release a fully-loaded vegan curry, complete with 18 varieties of vegetables. The curry is scheduled to be on sale from February 6th.
Since no animal products are used, it is appropriate for vegetarians and vegans alike. However, because it contains garlic and onions, it is not suitable for “Oriental Vegetarians.”
The moderately spicy, fragrant curry contains what are sure to be savory accents of black pepper, cumin and coriander. SB Foods has been authorized the promote the product using the Japan Vegetarian Association’s recommendation mark, so you can indulge with confidence.
Each heat-n-eat pack contains 180g. Although pricing has not been announced, other (non-veg) SB curries in this same series cost 230 yen, so it is probably safe to assume this will also be priced at or right around the same.
With 18 kinds of vegetables, this curry is sure to be a pleasing addition to diets short on vegetables. Specifically, the eighteen vegetables are lotus root, eggplant, young corn, red pepper, yellow pepper, green pepper, tomato, pumpkin, broccoli, celery, spinach, radish, Chinese cabbage, garlic, carrot, cabbage, onion, and ginger.
You can look forward to sizeable chunks of lotus root, eggplant, and young corn, which will provide great textural variation.
